As part of this service, our foreman oversees the low-voltage lighting systems, making necessary recommendations to ensure optimal function.

Routine lamp replacements and minor repairs are executed during our standard visits, with respective charges. Additional visits might come with extra costs. We also adjust clocks for daylight savings in both spring and fall.

Fixtures are realigned during maintenance. If any damage is found, the Landscape Maintenance Manager plans for repairs. Homeowners are notified if replacements are essential.

Water Feature Maintenance

Our water feature maintenance services encompass startup, ongoing monitoring, and winterization.

These services are available exclusively with one of our contracted services.

Our Water Feature Maintenance Includes:

  • Start-up begins in early April, weather permitting. This entails a thorough cleaning of the water feature, including spraying down all rocks, removing debris from the stream and basin, and replacing old water with fresh water. We then install the pump and initiate the system.

  • Winterization begins in mid-October, weather permitting. This includes pumping water out of the basin, draining ponds to a safe winter level, and safely storing the pump at RCL for the next spring.

  • During on-site visits, pond debris will be removed, skimmer filters will be cleaned, and algae control will be added if necessary. Bacteria, plant fertilizer, and algae control necessary for the water feature will be billed at scheduled prices. Pond plant divisions are performed upon request and will be billed on a time and material basis. It's recommended to do the plant divisions every 2-3 years.
