Our Story
River City Lawnscape, Inc. has been a family-owned business since being founded in 1983. We are passionate about providing opportunities while leading the way. We do that by creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. We have been quite literally changing the region's landscape since 1983. Our core values of being passionate, exceeding expectations, finding a way, and being unselfish guide us in all that we do.
Acquisitions
Over the years, River City Lawnscape, Inc. has acquired several businesses to better serve its customers.
In August of 2006, River City Lawnscape purchased Onalaska Tree Service, which was renamed Onalaska Tree Nursery. This acquisition allowed us to offer tree spaded trees in addition to our existing services.
In December 2012, River City Lawnscape purchased Holmen Lawn & Garden, welcoming their employees and customers into the River City Lawnscape family.
In 2019, River City Lawnscape acquired customers from Irrigation MD, with the intention of expanding our full-service maintenance options.
And most recently, in January 2021, River City Lawnscape purchased Gibbs Lawn Care in Kasson, Minnesota, adding a new market and welcoming their employees and customers into the River City Lawnscape family.
These acquisitions have helped River City Lawnscape expand its services, increase its expertise, and better meet the needs of its customers. By expanding and entering new markets, River City Lawnscape has been able to serve a more diverse range of customers.
