Project Goals
Small landscape areas present valuable opportunities to add structure and definition. For this project, the goal was to enhance a corner planting space near the sidewalk with a more durable and visually intentional design.
The focus centered on replacing turf with decorative stone and natural accents that complement the surrounding hardscape. Decisions were guided by durability, drainage awareness, and long-term ease of maintenance.
Our Design & Installation Process
Effective landscape improvements begin with preparation and clear layout planning.
Our team removed existing turf and prepared the base to support proper stone installation. Decorative river rock was installed within the defined space, and larger accent stones were positioned to create visual structure and edge definition along the curb.
Each step was completed with attention to grading, spacing, and clean transitions between sidewalk, curb, and landscape materials.
The completed corner bed provides a clean, defined appearance that complements the adjacent sidewalk and curb.
Decorative stone introduces texture and durability, while accent boulders create visual structure within the space. The updated layout supports drainage performance and reduces ongoing maintenance requirements.
The finished result is a simple, cohesive enhancement designed to remain stable and visually consistent over time.
