Rain Gardens

Rain Gardens have become a big part of the "Go Green" initiative in the United States.

Rain Gardens are used to hold and drain excess rain water.  They help ease the load on sewer systems as well as creeks and rivers that may flood.

An important part of the garden are plants.  Plants help absorb and clean much of the excess water.  Only limited varieties of plants are tolerant of Rain Garden conditions.
