The Landscape Maintenance Technician must have a positive attitude, be an eager learner, be conscious of safety requirements, work effectively as a team member, wear a uniform, be punctual, and follow all instructions given by the supervisor. This position is full time, seasonal. A typical work week requires 40-55 hours, some Saturdays as needed, with the work day starting at 7:00 a.m. The goal of the Landscape Maintenance team is to keep properties looking like the day the landscape was installed.  Varied tasks including pruning, weeding, annual planting and design to add color, top dressing mulch or rock, planting, repairing sod, seeding, edging plant beds and  clearing and removing brush will add diversity to your daily routine so you will never be bored. Working conditions vary by the job site. Teams of 2-3 people work together to maintain some of the most beautiful properties in the area.  Experience preferred but not required. 


  • Assist the Landscape Maintenance Manager in day to day operations
  • Follow all instructions given by the manager or crew leader
  • Prepare vehicles and equipment for the day’s work
  • Operate equipment properly and safely: back pack blower, hedge trimmer, power multi tool, chainsaw and others
  • Be punctual, committed, and motivated to succeed
  • Demonstrate customer service and professionalism
  • Perform general equipment maintenance
  • Work effectively with little supervision
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and per company production rates

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Posses a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy
  • Safely operate small equipment
  • Pass a pre-employment and ongoing random drug tests


  • Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. on a regular and consistent basis,  move about the work site 
  • Exposed to exterior elements (i.e. pollen, chemicals, cold, heat and rain, etc.)
  • Time in the field is 100%
  • Requires extended periods of activity; walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting
  • Typical work week requires 40-55 hours, some Saturdays as needed
